CASPO again

At Spade Oak Pit, Little Marlow, Alan Stevens saw the first-winter CASPIAN GULL again today, whilst elsewhere in the county, quite a few WAXWINGS are now cropping up. The scene is set for another huge invasion of this berry-munching boreal species, with flocks of 550 or more at numerous sites in northern England at present.
