This is an account of the personal observations of Lee G R Evans (LGRE) in his home county of Buckinghamshire. It also hosts all sightings of interest within the county but only those considered authentic by the author. I am extremely grateful for any images of local birds as well as of any information relating to birds within the boundaries - contact me anytime on 07881 906629 or email LGREUK400@aol.com.

EURASIAN CURLEWS STILL ROOSTING AT MARLOW
4.50 this evening (31 January), the three EURASIAN CURLEW - so well described by Lee Evans in his report yesterday - flew in to their now usual spot on the spit at Spade Oak Pit, Little Marlow, much to the relief and pleasure of Rose and Mike Collard. We three departed soon after, leaving the Curlews looking settled for the night. Also, five COMMON SHELDUCK - a new personal high score for me at LMGP. Not been a bad week all told, with three "lifetime" ticks (i.e. the Collards and "El Grook"). Good to meet you (John)
